The equipment work was originally designed to enhance clients’ experience with the mat work. Reformer work utilizes Pilates equipment based on springs. The spring tension acts as resistance that can be varied to make an exercise either more or less difficult and intense. As with all Pilates classes, you will achieve a complete body workout with emphasis placed on strengthening the core. This class is designed for those with prior experience on Pilates equipment. For your safety it is recommended that participants take either 2 private lessons or 3 intro reformer classes prior to joining class.
